Highroller48 is the winner of the UltimateBet World Poker Championship. Highroller48 took the first place cash prize of $200,000 and whatever other marketing endorsements Ultimate Bet throws his way.
Highroller48 is a 21 year-old electrical engineering student from the University of Maryland.
Both Highroller48 and second place finisher KillerDave also received a $9,000 prize package for a trip to Aruba to compete in the Aruba classic.
Be sure to watch this Saturday July 16th at 11pm on Fox Sports Net, when the six finalists: Ivan D, ferrisbuellr, PokerGirl269, thunder49, jamking, and Courage will battle it out for 10 g’s. They all have won an all expense paid package to Los Angeles, California to play at the Hollywood Park Casino, but they will also have the opportunity to go head to head for the $10,000 winner takes all prize pool.
The winner of the July 16th televised event will also be entered to play in the $200,000 Final Championship event with previous winners KillerDave, JTunsuited, SeanDegreat and highroller48. The series will pay out $250,000 in all.
